The Associate Director of Data Operations will be responsible for overseeing the data acquisition, integration, delivery, and utilization processes within our Patient Services Data Operations team. This role involves designing and implementing strategies for acquiring patient data from various sources and defining data quality standards for integration. The Associate Director will ensure accurate and efficient data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation through effective monitoring of data pipelines. They will also oversee the integration of patient data into the central data platform and deliver consistent, trustworthy data to internal stakeholders across patient services functions. Analyzing patient data to identify trends and insights, collaborating with patient services teams, and tracking performance indicators are crucial aspects of this role. The Associate Director will partner with IT teams to design secure and efficient data acquisition and reporting pipelines, stay updated on data management technologies, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. Effective stakeholder management and obtaining support for data quality initiatives are vital components as well.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Acquisition and Integration:
Design and implement strategies for acquiring patient data from diverse sources, including enrollment, engagement, market access, and patient support programs.
Work with data stewards and IT teams to define business rules and data quality standards for patient services data integration.
Monitor and manage data pipelines, ensuring data is ingested, cleansed, and transformed accurately and efficiently.
Data Delivery and Utilization:
Oversee the integration of patient data from multiple enrollment, engagement, and access management systems into the central data platform.
Deliver consistent, trustworthy patient data to internal stakeholders across patient services functions, including patient access programs, treatment adherence programs, field operations, and regulatory reporting.
Develop and implement data access governance policies and procedures.
Define and implement data quality rules and cleansing procedures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and translate them into actionable data delivery formats and reports
Patient Services Support:
Analyze patient data to identify trends and insights that support management of patient support programs, improve resource allocation, and enhance patient experience.
Collaborate with patient services teams to develop data-driven interventions and improve program effectiveness.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for patient services programs based on data analysis.
Technology and Systems:
Partner with IT teams to design, build, and manage secure and efficient data acquisition and reporting pipelines for patient services.
Stay up-to-date on data management technologies and trends, recommending solutions to improve data quality and accessibility.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations (e.G., HIPAA, CCPA).
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate effectively with data owners, business system owners, platform owners, data operations teams, and other key stakeholders across the organization.
Communicate patient services data operations challenges to stakeholders.
Obtain buy-in and support for data quality initiatives.
