Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial operations effectively. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable financial insights to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Participate in audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
Manage and maintain the company's accounting systems and software.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate environment.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
CPA or other relevant certification is a plus.
