Qualifications/Position Requirements:
No prior experience in crisis intervention? No problem. We're looking for individuals who possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and who are deeply empathetic and compassionate with good judgement. While a high school diploma is required, we welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences. If you have a genuine desire to help others and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you. It is a plus if you have some college, previous volunteer or work experience in social services or non-profit fields.

Crisis Intervention Specialist Duties Include:
Receive comprehensive training in crisis intervention techniques and active listening skills.
Provide compassionate support to callers on our 988 Suicide &
Crisis Lifeline
Prioritize follow-up services to ensure comprehensive care for every individual in crisis.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions and documentation.
