Workers Compensation Specialist

Job Description
AZZ has an exciting opportunity for a Workers Compensation Specialist at our Fort Worth Texas corporate office. Reporting to the Director of EHS you are a master collaborator working with both plant level management and corporate safety to ensure the alignment of daily administrative tasks. You’ll coordinate the policies, programs, and activities related to safety and workers compensation claims.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with the investigation of accidents and collects data for input into the system and all required OSHA reporting documents.
Assists with Environmental Health &
Safety (EHS) training to comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
Determines compensability of claims, based upon state law and in accordance with established Company guidelines.
Maintains all personnel-related documentation, including personnel files, and related records and reports.
Communicates appropriate information promptly to the appropriate party to streamline claim activity efficiently.
Ensures regulatory compliance and proper handling of the claim process.
Assists with projects and additional tasks as assigned.
