Wintech Senior Software Developer Position

WinTech is seeking a Senior Software Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to scale up the software development environment, technology infrastructure, and manufacturing automation! WinTech is an ESOP and specializes in the design and manufacturing of building materials such as aluminum and vinyl windows, access doors and panels, and other materials fitting various niche markets.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As a Senior Software Developer, this position will be responsible for the complete development lifecycle of backend databases through front-end user interfaces across the organization. Software development, database design, business intelligence, analytics, services/micro-services, and consideration of cloud providers will be key components of the responsibilities of the position. A comprehensive approach to testing, utilizing automated testing frameworks, will be required to optimize testing efficiency and coverage. Projects will also include supporting automation and other manufacturing plant initiatives. In all cases, building end-to-end solutions, focusing on best-practices, and delivering robust applications with minimal upkeep is the primary objective.
Effective collaboration will be critical, as this position will be highly interactive across multiple disciplines and technical levels, in both plant and office environments. Engagement with project stakeholders, listening to their needs, gaining an understanding of the related business processes, and actively offering ideas and solid technical solutions will set a strong foundation for success in this role.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years’ experience in a similar role with comparable skill requirements.
SKILLS and TALENT:
Experience in modern web-based frameworks such as React or Angular.
Proficient with desktop development platforms such as Microsoft .NET.
Strong background in business intelligence, analytics, SQL databases, and modern NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, etc.
Solid experience with cloud providers such as AWS and Azure.
Familiar with configuring and managing a web server instance, such as Apache.
Experience with web services and microservice architectures.
Experience designing APIs using REST and/or GraphQL.
Experience with Agile or similar project management methodology.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, NUnit, etc.
Familiar with hardware and network concepts.
Strong self-initiative and research abilities.
Highly skilled in problem-solving.
