Naked wines - Napa
new offer (23/06/2024)

job description

Our purpose:
Naked Wines is revolutionizing the way we enjoy wine by connecting everyday wine drinkers with the world’s best winemakers.
Funding winemakers upfront gives us a chance to support independent producers without the stressors or costs of the three-tier system - and allows us to offer customers site-exclusive wines for a best-in-the-business price point, which unlocks a huge target market.
We are the largest direct-to-consumer online wine business in the USA, shipping over 1 million cases a year (!) with plenty of growth and have ambitious growth plans ahead.
Our global team is entrepreneurial by nature, obsessive about customer experience and performance-driven, which makes this a place where you will be inspired to grow personally as well as professionally.

Manage the entire label lifecycle, from concept development through production, ensuring all designs meet our quality standards, performance benchmarks, and risk assessments.
Stakeholder Coordination and Communication:
Serve as the central communication hub among designers, winemakers, and other key stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient design and packaging processes. When necessary, preview design concepts in collaborative stakeholder meetings to maintain alignment with project timelines.
Label Design Information Coordination and Compliance:
Ensure comprehensive coordination and delivery of all necessary details to our designers for each label (both new and repeat), verifying the composition of each wine with our winemakers to maintain authenticity and accuracy. Facilitate the submission of each label to our legal team, providing all required documentation for the Certificate of Label Approval (COLA) process, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
Supplier and Specification Management:
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to secure all necessary specifications, limitations, and printing details for packaging materials, ensuring compliance with our standards and budget.
Ordering and Invoicing:
Place label orders on time in the stock management system, with the correct quantities and pricing. Process all invoices and investigate discrepancies
Packaging Quality Control:
Meticulously proof all graphic design proofs for packaging, ensuring accurate logo placement, copy, and color specifications. Maintain comprehensive records of technical packaging specifications and manage the distribution of packaging approval documentation to winemakers.
Project Reporting and Risk Management:
Report on project outcomes, identify potential risks, and communicate necessary escalations to management as per the project's work plan.
Additional Responsibilities:
Undertake any other tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of our wine brand.
