Welder

As a Welder at KMG, you will be responsible for welding metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings to determine welding requirements.
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding method based on materials and specifications.
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (e.G., flat, vertical, overhead).
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Perform welding repairs as necessary to correct defects or deficiencies.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition and perform routine maintenance.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a welder or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques.
Familiarity with welding safety standards and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and welding symbols.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials.
High school diploma or equivalent;
technical training or certification in welding is preferred.
