We are seeking a well-qualified candidate interested in participating in the new build of a project management web application to support our client's utility construction projects. You will be responsible for developing new solutions to model business processes and provide accuracy and efficiency to the stakeholders. Within the design requirements you will be provided a wide scope of design and creative latitude to build a modern best-in-class project management web application. The application will model the project lifecycle including meta-data, cost, and governance.
You will be working in the Project Controls organization as part of a small, dedicated project team of software and database developers creating custom solutions for stakeholders to optimize project execution and provide critical project controls and oversight.
This position will provide a wide range of experience in not only development, but business process management, data modeling, and analytics. This position will offer the freedom to explore new ideas and make a positive difference in the workflows of the teams as well as provide the best value to the rate payers.
Salary Range:
$65,000.00 - $(phone number removed) per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Duties
Collaborate with product owner, project team, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and develop robust and scalable web applications, both on the front-end and back-end.
- Develop user interfaces with modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Implement server-side logic and APIs using back-end technologies such as Node.Js, Python, or others.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database developers and product owners, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
- Perform code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
- Optimize application performance and scalability through performance tuning, code refactoring, and database optimization techniques.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in full stack development, and share knowledge within the team.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your full stack development projects.
High proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.Js.
High proficiency in C# and MVC design.
Strong knowledge of back-end technologies, such as Node.Js, Python, or others, along with experience working with SQL Server databases.
Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with version control systems like Git, merge master experience preferred.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Oracle products such as Primavera a plus.
Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
BSc degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience
