Due to our continued expansion, we are in search of a Water Program Director in Ohio. Our Water services encompass a wide range of areas including Wet Infrastructure Management and Condition Assessment, Water / Wastewater / Stormwater Design, Watershed Studies, Surface Water Monitoring &
Analysis, NPDES Stormwater Services, and Wastewater &
Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies (SSES). We seek a motivated individual to lead the growth of our team and to enhance our Water capabilities across the United States. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement and may be based in any of our Ohio offices:
Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, or Toledo.
Responsibilities:
Drive sales and expansion of our Water Market services in Ohio by cultivating and enhancing client relationships.
Collaborate across Market areas to identify and pursue business opportunities while ensuring service delivery aligns with our objective of industry leadership.
Cultivate and strengthen existing client relationships to uncover new project opportunities within the Water services domain.
Identify and cultivate new client relationships that align with our business strategy and project focus.
Promote our firm as a leading provider of Water services to both existing and prospective clients.
Support project managers in negotiating project schedules, fees, scopes, and contract terms.
Provide mentorship to Project Managers and staff. Collaborate with Project Managers to address and resolve project issues impacting client objectives and satisfaction.
Define and communicate client expectations and requirements. Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, addressing and anticipating project issues.
Represent our firm as an industry leader by participating in conferences and engaging with local and industry organizations, groups, and committees.
Possess work experience and established client relationships with local and state agencies in Ohio.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and 16 years of related experience, Master's degree (MA/MS) and 14 years of related experience, or 20 years of related experience.
Professional Engineering (PE) license in Ohio is mandatory.
Demonstrated sales acumen and project management skills are required.
Ability to make informed decisions based on data evaluation and synthesis.
Proactive and innovative management approach is essential.
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of success.
Capability to define project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Effective facilitation and meeting management abilities.
Superior presentation and communication (both oral and written) skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Willingness to travel as necessary to fulfill Market demands.
