Wastewater Operator

Job Description
Veolia Water Technologies, Inc. Dayton is currently seeking a Wastewater Operator to work in the Dover New Jerseyarea.
The Wastewater Operator will operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant in compliance with the site indirect discharge permit, including lab analysis of process samples, minor and preventive maintenance of equipment, and complete other tasks as assigned by the Lead Wastewater Operator, Account Manager, or other Veolia Leadership.
Position requires a “can do'' attitude and be self directed. The position is full time (40 hrs/wk) with potential for overtime to cover vacations. This position is an entry level position and you will be trained to operate the following.
Operate
Metal precipitation/clarification
PH adjustment
Sludge press
Sludge removal
Become familiar with
Coagulants,
Flocculants, and
General wastewater chemistry, (caustics / acids)
