Position Purpose:
The Wastewater Operations &
Maintenance Technician I provide day-to-day monitoring at the wastewater treatment plant and (13) pump stations.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Operates equipment manually and through instrument panels, computer terminals and programmable logic control units associated with wastewater facilities.
Ability to utilize CMMS (Job Cal Plus) and HACH WIMS systems.
Works safely in a team-oriented environment.
Performs daily rounds, pump station checks and solids handling duties as necessary.
Carries on-call cell phone every 6 weeks and is responsible for off hours emergency alarms.
