Warehouse Supervisor

Position:
Warehouse Supervisor Our client is a leading distributor of electrical supplies, serving various industries including construction, manufacturing, and maintenance. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team and oversee the daily operations of their warehouse. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations - Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands and minimize stock shortages - Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate receipt of incoming shipments - Ensure accurate and timely processing of outgoing orders, including picking, packing, and shipping - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to safety standards and regulations - Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with other departments to improve overall efficiency and customer satisfaction - Train and enforce proper handling and storage of electrical supplies to prevent damage and loss - Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the warehouse team Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management - Experience in managing a team and proven leadership skills - Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and safety procedures - Familiarity with electrical supplies and their handling and storage requirements - Proficient in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Forklift certification is a plus Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
