Warehouse Supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff.
Oversees receiving and stowing, picking, and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.
Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space.
Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.
Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance.
Implement strong safety policies and procedures.
Organize supplies and equipment throughout the warehouse.
Maintain inventory in addition to processing and packing orders to be delivered.
Verify orders prepared by warehouse staff are accurate before shipping.
Provide all documentation/information to drivers for pickup and delivery
You will always follow all OSHA safety guidelines.Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position.

Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
5+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory control experience.
1-2 years of supervisory experience in related field preferred
Forklift certification highly preferred but not required.
Bilingual speaker, English, Spanish.
Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Suite which includes Word, Excel, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially to a diverse range of audiences and settings.
The ability to make decisions.
The ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Ability to deal with high pressure
Flexible schedule to include late afternoon and evening hours and Overtime and weekends as needed to provide support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends
Travel 25% of the time when requested.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, reaching and/or stooping.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds at times.
