Warehouse Manager
Directs, supervises, and coordinates all activities of companies San Leandro warehouse operations. Ensures shipping receiving, storage and distribution are performed in an efficient manner. Takes precautions to secure warehouse contents against loss, inspects warehouse facilities and equipment to maintain a safe, and effective workplace. The Warehouse Supervisor lead overseas all activities of the warehouse workers and participates in inventory control. Can hire and fire under direction of SL GM
Dispatcher
Directs, supervises, and coordinates and reports daily to General Manager through email, verbal communication and phone, all activities of companies San Leandro drivers and truck operations. Takes precautions to make sure all of drivers and trucks are clean and being operated in a safe manner. The Dispatcher oversees all delivery and pickup activities of the San Leandro Drivers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNTIONS/DUTIES:

Warehouse Manager

• Compares contents and counts, weighs and measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against Bill of Ladings, invoices, orders, and other records.
  
• Oversees and assists with the Loading and Unloading of materials, stack/pile materials insurance organization both incoming and outgoing, to and from designated storage areas.
  
• Stack or pile materials such as pads, boxes, etc. in designated areas in the warehouse.
  
• Oversees the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, to make sure isles are not
  Blocked and forklift can drive thought isles.
  
• Material is put away in the racking and racking is used to its capability.
  
• Makes sure exit doors and fire ext. are not blocked.
  
• Will walk around and do a daily warehouse inspection.
  
• Reading documents, such as work orders, bill of ladings, and shipping orders.
  
• Determine units to be moved, gathered, distributed, picked up and/or shipped.
  
• Record shipment data, such as weights, chargers, space availability and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
  
• Maintains receiving, adjustment logs, and promptly turns them in for daily time entry.
  
• Reports all concerns to General Manager regarding warehouse safety.
  
• Can Hire and Fire under direction of SL GM

Dispatcher

• Contact Carrier representatives to arrange and issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
  
• Record Shipment data, such as weight and charges for Bills of Lading.
  
• Plan s pickups/deliveries schedules to ensure customer needs are met and driver is scheduled effectively.
  
• Provides Human Resources daily driver logs and driver vehicle inspection reports.
  
• Works with our outside mechanics to make sure that all our Trucks are operating in a safe and efficient manner
  
• Supplies Lead CDL Driver with driver shipments and vehicle check list for each driver. All documents are completed the night before and placed in the designated area for the Lead CDL Driver.
  
• Works closely with Opening Warehouse Lead on arrival for any updates and at end of Opening Warehouse Leads departure for the day to assure a smooth transition of operations.
  
• Familiarizes self with Vehicle/Fleet Maintenance and DOT Regulations and works closely with Human Resources to make sure that all Quarterly inspections are completed in an efficient manner.
  
• Communicates with San Leandro Lead Driver first and drivers second throughout the day and communicates to General Manager all daily activities.
  
• Works closely with Warehouse Lead and CSR s to make sure that the San Leandro deliveries and pickups are done in an efficient manner.
  
• Reports all delivery issues/concerns to the General Manager.
