Vice President - Purchasing And Logistics

Job Description
The VP of Purchasing and Logistics leadermust have hospitality (hotel/resort) experience. Individual willreport to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and oversee FF&
E, OS&
E, Sourcing, Procurement and Warehouse &
Logistics departments encompassing 50+ team members.

Job Responsibilities
Oversee all facets of Procurement, FF&
E, Sourcing, Warehouse and Logistics, including personnel, project management, contract negotiation, brand specifications, etc.
Lead a team culture to provide exceptional service to the end user and develop a strong internal team culture
Lead all sourcing efforts, securing partnerships with manufacturers, distributors and supplies to align with brand specifications
Form relationships with key stakeholders throughout the company with a focus on service, quality, and cost savings
Develop new processes and system to support the purchasing operations and improve maintain financial success
Communicates department visions, develop strategic plan, implement process and training, and track results
Develop and update FF&
E and OS&
E brand specifications
Negotiate national agreements, including FF&
E, OS&
E, freight, and system contracts
Develop budget templates and maintain budgets and expenses for each project
Develop and maintain project schedules
Reviewing purchasing orders and contracts for conformance to policies and global planning
Ensure warehouse inventory is properly secured and managed
Manage all PAR level counts
Resolving vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers
Train buyer on product knowledge and specifications
Resolve receiving and accounts payable issues through process improvement
Maintains a working understanding of Fusion and its involvement of departments daily business
Must comply with all CFI policies and procedures
Must represent Westgate Resorts in a professional manner through appearance, dress, and professional behavior at all times, as dictated in the Associate's Handbook
Must work diligently to gain knowledge and experience to execute the role to its full potential
