Vice President of North American Sales
Charlotte, NC

The Vice President Sales, Windows will be responsible for managing all aspects of the traditional, national account and commercial sales channels for the company's Windows Business Unit. The ideal candidate must possess and display a positive attitude with relentless passion for growing the assigned business. The position will be a primary member within the windows leadership team and will be a key role in developing and implementing strategies and driving financial results.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes and implements sales strategies to support sales and profit growth within the assigned sales channels and across the company's enterprise.
Develops annual sales plans and associated regional sales budgets
Manages all sales team members and processes.
Cultivates and fosters strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Attends and participates in key trade and customer events.
Trains, mentors, and motivates the sales team.
Coaches and develops future leaders of the business.
Ability to manage and plan multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering, Marketing, Business, Management or a related field
Seven (7) to ten (10) years relevant experience in consumer durable products industry through sales, product management or marketing
Masters (MBA) Degree in a relevant field is required.
Experience of developing and driving a sales channel;
developing programs andbuilding long-term relationships.
Experience developing and deploying strategic initiatives to profitably expand and grow a business.
Solid computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word Processing, and PowerPoint presentations.
MUST HAVE

7-10 years relevant experience in consumer durable products industry through sales, product management or marketing
Experience of developing and driving a sales channel;
developing programs andbuilding long-term relationships.
Experience developing and deploying strategic initiatives to profitably expand and grow a business.
Experience and Proven ability to drive top-line growth in small to medium sized customer base versus high volume sales with a handful of large-scale retail chains.
Experience and Demonstrated success in the growth and development of a national sales force.
Experience and Exposure in the building materials manufacturing space.
Solid computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word Processing, and PowerPoint presentations.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Will NOT consider anyone that does not have a master's degree or equivalent.
Will NOT consider anyone that does NOT have experience in the building materials space.
Ideal candidate will have more than 7 years of national level sales leadership that is responsible for more than $1B in total top line sales in the building materials space, an MBA, from the Charlotte metro area (or willing to relocate), and a proven track record of turning around a failing sales team.
