The vice-president operations will play a key role in implementing the group’s vision. They will be responsible and accountable for the overall operations, development and profitability of their assigned business unit. As an ambassador of the PremierTech Culture, they will have to develop the vision and rally teams around it, and create an environment that fosters performance and innovation.
Your future role
Contribute to the development of an ambitious and inspiring vision for this business group and rally teams around the organization’s strategic orientations
Support leadership teams in North America, Europe and Asia in the achievement of organizational objectives
Work with the teams, foster innovation in practices and ensure the quality of products and services according to identified priorities
Initiate meaningful changes for the growth, reach and future of the company
Contribute to the creation of new product offerings, services and business models, and ensure their commercial execution
Ensure the development of business plans and follow-up on investment projects
Lead horizontal teams to foster synergies and exchange of best practices within the team
Set the orientations of its business unit in collaboration with the management team
Show leadership and support all business unit activitiesRequired skills
Diploma and skills relevant to the job offering
15 years of experience in general management roles in international markets
Developed skills in analyzing and monitoring financial statements, particularly P&
L
Strong experience in product and service management, and innovation
Passion for manufacturing and industrial companies
Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment
Leadership, capacity to mobilize and influence
Proficiency in English—for communication with customers, suppliers and team members outside Québec
