Vehicle Build Technician

This role is currently based in Gardena, CA (Los Angeles) and is 100%on-site. Please check the commute impact ahead of applying.
What you’ll do:
Assist in the building of custom classic vehicles
Pre-fab fitment and installation of interior components, such as custom seats, consoles, dashboard components, audio and video systems, wiring harnesses, etc.
Light fabrication work, such as building custom brackets, drilling, and tapping fitting panels
Building custom brake and cooling lines
Assemble vehicles and related components in multiple systems such as chassis, suspension, motors, interiors, exterior panel alignment, etc.
Work closely with Fabrication and Engineering teams on custom part installations and creating a standard process for builds.
Perform inspections, repairs, alterations, and other work on active builds working carefully around finished/painted vehicles.
Use a mix of power tools, hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and fabrication equipment, and know when to bring in new tools and technology to finish the job effectively.
Requirements
4+ years of automotive build experience with preference given to custom builds, 12v systems, fabrication, and assembly. This is NOT a simple diagnostic, tires, and oil change job.
Additional certifications are a plus!
Demonstrated experience working with tools and performing vehicle builds
Be a self-starter, team player, and a problem-solver.
Pride in delivering high quality of work
A feeling of responsibility to keep things organized and clean, consistent work habits, detail oriented.
Bonus points for Electric Vehicle and/or custom vehicle experience.
