AckerSpray Drone Sales is seeking an individual to prepare, submit and track all FAA Part 135, 137 and 44807 exemption submissions for our clients. The perfect candidate will collaborate with the sales, and technical support teams, providing support and striving to resolve any and every issue that customers may face during this process. You will ensure the FAA registration process goes smoothly and all legal aspects are met by guiding them throughout the FAA compliance process.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
Become a true expert on FAA rules, regulations, and requirements for all Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), including but not limited to:
Part 107 - Drone Pilot’s License
Part 135 - Air Carrier and Operator Certification
Part 137 - Aerial Applicators License
Section 44807 Exemption:
Heavy Drone Exemption (55+ lbs)
Continually researching and staying up to date on FAA rules/regulations
Manage the entire FAA submission process:
Using internal tools to get the appropriate client information to submit FAA registration
Email clients the appropriate instructions, study guides, and applications needed to obtain their Part 107, Part 137, Part 135 and 44807
Create Tickets using our internal systems to track FAA submissionsExplain to clients how to continue to legally operate through log books and data recording
Become a true expert on our products, our industry and on how we create value for our customers.
Communicate with clients regularly over the phone and by email following up on the FAA studying and applications, asking for feedback and offering guidance if needed.
Always answer your dedicated phone calls or call back customers as quickly as possible.
Within 60 days get familiar with Aerial Application requirements in 10 states
Within 365 days get familiar with Aerial Application requirements in all 50 states
Requirements
Exceptional knowledge of UAS/UAV operations and FAA Rules/Regulations preferred
1+ years of experience in submitting petitions to government agencies preferred
Legal degree not required but preferred
Excellent communication and verbal skills
Highly organized, detail oriented and ability to multitask
Self-driven and proactive in nature
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as a team member in a collaborative environment
High computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
Detailed oriented, strong work ethic, motivation to achieve high producing standards
Self-Disciplined to work efficiently with limited supervision
Bonus Skills:
