Estates practice group - is actively seeking experienced Trusts &
Estates Attorneys to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. Our robust practice is welcoming Trusts &
Estates attorneys with 3-10 years of experience to work with clients and their families, as well as attorneys with drafting experience. If you have a penchant for delivering top-notch legal work on mid-to-complex experience-level matters, and whether you are already licensed to practice law in Florida or planning to relocate and willing to sit for the Florida Bar in the near future, we'd like to hear from you.
As a Trusts and Estates attorney with Williams Parker, you will work closely with our clients to provide the legal framework to carefully address and answer all questions pertaining to estate planning, tax planning, business succession, charitable giving, and retirement planning goals. This legal framework is part of the smooth transition of our clients’ businesses and estates to future beneficiaries and owners. You will also represent clients, or their fiduciaries, in estate and trust administration and, when necessary, in probate litigation proceedings and tax controversies involving estate and gift tax matters.

Requirements
Ability to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to exceptional client service and developing long-term client relationships.
Experience in estate and trust planning, including excellent tax research, legal document drafting with accuracy and efficiency;
preparing and reviewingestate tax returns, gift tax returns, and trust income tax returns is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team of attorneys and professional staff in handling sophisticated and complex estate planning, tax planning, and probate and trust administration matters with high-net-worth clients.
Possess an enthusiastic attitude with demonstrated initiative, reliability, and an exceptional drive for results.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks.
LL.M. in Tax is strongly preferred, but the lack of an LL.M. can be substituted with the right depth of experience.
Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Florida Bar admission or willingness to sit for The Florida Bar exam in the near future, required
Florida Bar Board Certification in relevant area, preferred
