Position:
Traveling General Construction Laborer
Summary:
The Traveling General Construction Assistant will be responsible for installing all interior finishes into modular units on site as well as attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts. This position will assist the Traveling Logistics Manager with setting our prefabricated modular builds at various site locations while out on the road. When not traveling, this position will be working out of our Mount Holly, NC facility. This position requires 55% travel, however, you will be home most weekends.

Par Range is 40,000 - 65,000 Annually + Per Diem when Traveling
Responsibilities and Duties
Install interior finishes.
Reading blueprints.
Transporting the materials and equipment to each work site.
Inspecting the integrity of structures upon their installation.
Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job duties.
Maintains work area (kept clean and organized).
Follows work orders and instructions on correct assembly of building components.
Maintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns.
Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed.
Maintains a good attendance record as it is critical for success.
Demonstrates a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Skilled in the operation and control of hand tools.
Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
Able to work 8+ hours on your feet.
Must be able to safely manage repetitive use of ladders and stairs.
Not afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment daily.
Ability to be trained and take direction respectfully.
Ability to work in a team with others.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications
Highschool or equivalent.
Eligible to work in the U.S.
2-year experience in a related job field.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must know how to read a tape measure.
Must know how to use power tools (drill, impact, chop saw, rivet gun, etc.)
Knowledge of electrical &
plumbing is a plus.
Must be honest, have a good work ethic, and play well with others.
Must be able to crouch, bend, and work overhead for extended periods of time.
