We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Labor and DeliveryRegistered Nurse (RN) to join our talented team. The working schedule for this role is nights, 3 x 12rotating weekends
The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer

Key Responsibilities:
Care will be provided to pediatric, gynecological, and obstetrical patients in collaboration with local OB/GYN physicians,Certified Nurse Midwives, Pediatric Hospitalists, Lactation Consultants, and a highly skilled nursing team
Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports;
delivery rate averages 850 births per a year, and a low primary C-section rate
Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
Recording patient vital signs and medical information
Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
Administering non-intravenous medications
Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN state licensure
3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
BLS/BCLS, ACLS, NRP, PALScertifications
STABLE and perinatal related RNC certifications preferred
Basic Fetal Monitoring skills, Labor and Delivery experience and OR/C-Section circulation experienced preferred
Basic Perinatal nursing, Med/Surg and/or Mother/Baby post delivery experience preferred
Special Care Nursery Level II or III or equivalent experience in care and stabilization of sick neonate preferred
Bachelor degree in nursing preferred
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
Basic computer skills
