Travel Licensed Practical Nurse

We are currently seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. As a Travel LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to travel to different locations across the country while delivering exemplary patient care in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or physician
Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans based on individual needs
Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics and self-care techniques
Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols
Stay updated with nursing best practices and participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Minimum of 2 years of recent LPN experience
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare software
Familiarity with nursing principles, procedures, and protocols
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel to various locations
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Willingness to comply with all travel assignments and requirements
