We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Travel Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a Travel CNA at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to explore different healthcare settings across various locations while making a positive impact on the lives of patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Transfer patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment
Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Assist with range of motion exercises and physical therapy routines
Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior
Maintain cleanliness and organization of patients' rooms
Document patient information accurately and maintain records
Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients
Requirements
Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent CNA experience
Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Compassionate and empathetic attitude
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work effectively in a team
Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
Flexibility to travel to various locations and work different shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
