How You’ll Contribute:
Kaufman Rossin’s Business Consulting team works with business leaders to maximize value through integrated services that combine transaction advisory, corporate finance, strategy, and performance management. Our approach to M&
A advisory includes a robust assessment of financial and operational drivers to validate deal terms and help our clients maintain leverage in all negotiations. The team is currently looking for aTransaction Advisory Associate, specific to our healthcare vertical,to work alongside our CPAs, MBAs, technologists, fraud experts, valuators, former business operators, and more.
Participate in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, specific to the healthcare industry, with both private equity and strategic corporate buyers and sellers
Perform quality of earnings assessments
Analyze the financial operations of target companies and identify issues that may impact the purchase price
Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies
Communicate due diligence findings in a formal report
Interact with the other functional areas of the practice including tax, audit, and other consulting practices
Maintain active communication with clients to manage their expectations, ensure client satisfaction, and make sure both firm and client deadlines are met

Requirements
What Skills You’ll Bring:
2-3 years of recent public accounting or consulting experience, with a focus on audit and/or transaction advisory within the healthcare industry
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Previous experience with acquisitions, divestitures, and/or financial due diligence
Strong knowledge of accounting, with experience analyzing financial statements and projections
Advanced Excel (including financial modeling) and PPT skills
Excellent written communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and comfort with public speaking
Aptitude for creatively solving problems and fixing things through critical and outside-the-box thinking
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and meet reporting deadlines
How You’ll Stand Out:
Healthcare industry-specific experience
CPA license or eligibility
Bilingual in Spanish
