Job Description:

As a Training Supervisor, you will monitor the work performance and training of all onsite associates - coaching and assisting them in the proper ways to do their tasks safely and ensuring they have all the appropriate PPE. This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who can relate to individuals at all levels. Part of the work will be to document their progress in training.

Salary Range:
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $20,00 - $25.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer a competitive benefits package. Essential Job Functions

  • Have a constant presence on the warehouse floor throughout the Outbound Building
  • Ensure that associates are staying engaged, productive, and working with a sense of urgency.
  • Ensure that associates are working safely and using all PPE that has been provided to them for use while performing the functions of their job.
  • Monitor the Associate Tracking Report in the LM system on any associate suspected of not staying engaged, excessive socializing, and/or low productivity.
  • Monitor associate productivity daily.
  • Policy violations should be brought to the immediate attention of your Supervisor/Operations Manager before taking any steps to remedy the situation.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or Ged preferred
  • 1+ years of experience providing training, preferably in the recruitment or production/manufacturing/logistics industry.
  • Knowledgeable in safety expectations, policies, and procedures
  • Experience coaching and motivating others
  • Physical ability to be on feet and walk 10-12 hours per day 5-6 days per week
  • Knowledge of MS Office software:
    Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • Ability to prioritize and plan in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Ability to manage a large workload promptly
  • Familiarity in working with deadlines
