D Construction Methods team within the Transmission &
Distribution group. This position will lead all aspects of SCE's roadside safety traffic control program which will develop traffic control safe work methods, training, and standards for field crews and personnel working on streets and highways. This person will need to collaborate with internal stakeholders, external clients, city officials, vendors and the public.As a **Traffic Control Senior Advisor**, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone.   • Oversee capital improvement program management.
  • Perform traffic data analysis and safety studies.
  • Review of traffic control plans.
  • Oversee traffic control related tasks in large corridor improvement and transit projects.
  • Conduct technical writing and assisting with preparation of report documents and presentations.
  • Gain subject matter expertise in Federal and State traffic control criteria and standards.
  • Develop safe work practices for scenarios that do not normally use temporary traffic control.
  • Subject matter expert for traffic control training.
  • *Qualifications**
  • *The essentials**
  • Ten or more years of combined experience developing or implementing safety or operations standards or methods.
  • Three or more years of experience supporting or developing traffic control plans or standards.
  • Valid Driver's license.

**The preferred**

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Valid registration as a Civil or Traffic Engineer in the State of California.
  • Knowledge of Transmission/Distribution Construction, Maintenance and Design standards, OSHA regulations, safety work practices and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience collaborating with executive level leaders.
  • Experience writing both complex material and high-level summaries and presentations for varied audiences.

  • This position's work mode is **hybrid**. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
