Topsides Project Engineer

Summary
Per Sé Group is seeking a Professional Engineer to act as a key member of the execution team for our oil &
gas client’s topsides project. In this position you will play a central supporting role to ensure successful planning and execution of small projects. Your expertise as a Project Engineer will ensure the topsides project is made ready for commissioning and launch on time. The Topsides Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordination and execution of small projects, such as equipment overhauls, to ensure delivered safely in a timely manner to protect the overall Project schedule.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for overseeing Small projects including Emergency Generator bearing replacement and reactivation;
Firewater pump module reactivation;
Seawater and Firewater pump overhaul at respective OEM facilities;
Replacement of wire ropes to lifting devices;
Modification of ASV landing platform.Assist in the development of work scopes that are to feed into an integrated Project schedule, collaborating with discipline leads in Project Controls, Supply Chain, Construction and Commissioning.Determine and report on material requirements including Required level of effort for resourcing;
Activity durations;
Budget;
SIMOPS;
Third party Vendor support requirements.Demonstrate leadership in safety and protecting the environment. Act as a safety champion by promoting safety awareness and safe performance among colleagues, project teams, and contractors at all times.Contribute to safety program, health and environment protection, reliability and efficiency in order to achieve world-class performance of company strategies.Actively participate in both behavioral based safety and site safety walk programs.Ensure compliance with Project Specifications and applicable codes.Preparation and issuance of various work packs, schedules, minutes of meeting etc. as required to coordinate and record project execution activities.

Preferred Skills and ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in engineering.Must be a Professional Engineer (PE).Highly proficient in Excel (managing complex financial models in Excel) PPT, and Microsoft Office products. 15 years experience in either a project or operational capacity in the Oil and Gas industryStructural, Mechanical, I&
C and Electrical knowledge.
