Tool Management Operator

RMC is hiring an HBSS Tech to support our customer in Quantico, VA.The selected applicant will perform a variety of activities including but not limited to:
Monitor detection consoles for events of interest to reduce false positives.
Assess endpoints on the network to meet malware scanning and compliance requirements.
Participate in the planning and implementation of new technology on the network.
Maintain servers, both on-premises and in the cloud, or other central managers of endpoint security systems and configure, monitor, and adequately patch them in accordance with applicable directives.
Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot host security agents, modules, extensions, deployment tasks, and tags to provide the required functionality to defend the Enterprise Network.
Maintain compliance with the standards required guidelines.
Monitor system performance log and alert feeds and notify within one hour of any degradation or interruption.
Demonstrate effectiveness by successfully identifying or preventing activity.
Participate as needed to troubleshoot and resolve system availability or security issues causing large-scale outages or degradation of functionality.
Requirements
Requires a Master’s level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Seven years of professional experience in systems administration.
Applicant selected must hold a current valid IAT Level II certification. Candidate selected must maintain the required IAT Level II compliant certification.Certification Requirements:
This position will require DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II compliance.
An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
This position is considered essential and will be required to report during hazardous weather, power outages, fuel shortages, pandemics, and other emergencies.
