Key duties/responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate opportunities with new customers and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all key valve services customers.
• Manage and coordinate the pursuit of in-house and field valve service opportunities.
• Lead and/or support each opportunity through the following phases:
  Project Identification, Pursuit Strategy, Proposal Generation, Execution, Project Completion and Customer Satisfaction Follow-up.
• Serve as an outside sales resource and subject matter expert for all valve services, including:
  
• Control, relief, ball, gate, globe, and check valves
• Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators
• Instrumentation and accessories, i.E. solenoids, switch boxes, digital positioners, controllers, etc.
• Installation, maintenance, and commissioning services
• Initiate, assist, and document walk downs to determine job scope, valve data, and valve location.
• Communicate to the inside sales team any additional equipment required to perform the requested service engagement.
• Comply with customer safety standards including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (respirators, goggles, hearing protection, etc.) when visiting customer facilities.
• Understand and comply with generally accepted industry standards, such as ANSI, ASME, API, NBIC and others, as they apply to valve service.
• Look for opportunities to provide additional value to customers that also deliver incremental business for Applied Control and Emerson.
