As part of TCEQ’s Office of Waste, you would contribute to agency efforts to regulate the generation, treatment, storage, and disposal of various wastes and the cleanup of contaminated sites.See details about what we do.
This position is a member of our Remediation Division.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a part of the division’s Remediation team, our Corrective Action Specialist V will play a key role in achieving TCEQ’s mission. You would use your skills and experience to:
Oversee all phases of corrective action work at Superfund Section sites, including investigations, remediation, monitoring, and systems operations for TCEQ.
Manage all phases of highly advanced corrective action work in accordance with Superfund Section guidelines.
Prepare work orders, reviews invoices, and monitors project budgets.
Perform technical or administrative tasks as assigned, such as but not limited to:
train or provide guidance to less experienced staff, prepping guidance materials, standard operating procedures, contract specifications, or proposal evaluations.
