Tax Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert tax advice and services to our clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations while maximizing tax efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients in various industries.
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
Advise clients on tax implications of business transactions, investments, and other financial activities.
Assist with tax audits, including preparation of audit responses and representation of clients.
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact to clients and team members.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
Perform other tax-related tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or EA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax consulting or public accounting.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
