Systems Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience engineering, deploying, and maintaining Linux-based systems and supporting infrastructure.

What you will accomplish in your first six months:
Configuration &
deployment of hardened Linux hosts and supporting systems
Identify areas for improvement within your assigned projects
Work with the DevOps team to automate repetitive tasks
Work with the Network &
Security Operations team to optimize monitoring
What you will do:
Configure, deploy, and maintain:
Linux-based systems (a handful of Windows hosts)
Networking equipment - switches, routers, firewalls
Virtualization hardware - VMware ESXi, VSAN, VSphere, VCenter
Create systems documentation (No need to write the works of Shakespeare - clear, concise, and to the point will suffice – we like pictures, too)
