TRISTAR is an System Administrator II for our government customer in Bloomington, IN
Position Description:
The System Administrator II will work independently to provide quality solutions
Supporting system integration, troubleshooting, patching, STIG implementation, configuration management, and maintaining various hardware/software
Position Responsibilities:
Perform system integration, software installation, and configuration
Support software maintenance, software installation, hardware configuration, setup, &
maintenance
Supportintegration, manage and resolve install issues
Support testing, including Verification and Validation, Software Functional Tests, Cybersecurity Compliance Testing and other test events as required
Support will include system troubleshooting, test execution, and record keeping
Position Requirements:
VMWare experience in a Windows and Linux environment
Tier 1, 2, &
3 help desk experience
Windows and Linux RedHat experience
Experience with SQL database
Basic networking knowledge
Experience utilizing Active Directory/Group Policies
Experience with PowerShell and creating scripts
Experience with Smart Deploy
MUST be a US Citizen
Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
Education and Certification:
BS in Computer Science, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field preferred
IAT level II certification with DoD 8570 (Example CompTIA Security Plus) or willingness to obtain prior to start date
