Job Description
As a Staff Software Developer in Tools Development, you will be responsible for developing wholistic solutions for both internal and external customers to test and utilize Western Digital devices. These solutions may require development ofLinux and Windows applications, interfacing with device drivers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
Analyze technical specifications andresearch technologies required to implement the right solutions for the technical challenges
Design,develop and deploy software applications and systems
Test, debug, maintain and develop improvements to existing software applications and systems
Create documentation for technical specifications, user guides, and development guides
Collaborate with teammates to keep code well-maintainedby using best practices and established industrystandards
