Survey Crew Chief / Party Chief

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief / Party Chief for our team out of Columbia, SC.
The Survey Crew Chief will lead a two- or three-person survey field crew in day-to-day operations for various surveysfor our Digital Practice &
Technology (DPT) group.
Additionally, they will:
Coordinateand interactwith survey team, Survey Field Coordinator and Survey Manager
Work with robotic total stations, GNSS equipment and terrestrial scanners
Work on boundary, topographic, as-built, construction, route and control network surveys
Maintainschedule and budget requirements of assigned tasks
Monitor and maintain survey equipment and truck assigned to crew
Understand and maintain standards and specifications of project requirements
Keep and maintain accurate field records
Adapt and respond to situations should they arise

Understandand followall applicable safety procedures
Relyon general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to plan and accomplish moderate goals
Occasional overnight travel to additionallocations. When required, travel is typically Monday-Thursday.
Typically work four 10-hour days, Monday-Thursday.
