Summary:
The primary functions of this position is to perform the procedures needed to produce a quality product utilizing automated solder paste stencil machine;
Pick and place equipment, reflow oven and AOI machine. The technician will be responsible for programming all the equipment and to verify it is meeting the set standards. The person performing this job must have adequate knowledge of the department operating plan and shipping schedule. They must be knowledgeable of the processes outside their immediate area to aid in the coordination of work.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures and adheres to the Company’s procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&
S), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline/corrective action, and security.
Programming and operation of the solder stencil printer
Programming and operation of the pick and place equipment.
Profiling and operation of the reflow oven.
Programming and operation of the AOI machine.
Perform self-inspection ensuring product meets the drawing and Class 3 IPC-610 criteria.
Perform the procedure called machine readiness. Includes verification that the product can be built meeting the current Engineering documentation.
Take initiative to work independently to meet company shipping goals
Act as a Liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing.
Read Standard Operating Procedures and suggest improvements.
Cross training to other CCA job functions is a requirement. This allows CCA to be flexible when coverage is needed for scheduled vacations and when there has been a change in customer demand.

Responsibilities:
Ability to work with ITAR controlled documents.

Required to follow ESD controls.
Skill in collecting and analyzing complex or technical data.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Educational / Experience Qualifications:
High school diploma required.
5-10 years relevent work experience required.
Any combination of education, training and experience listed above that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Senior person that mentors peers.
This position manages some of the employees of the department and is responsible for some employee performance management and hiring within that department.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Ability to use a microscope.
Dexterity to use tools for mechanical assembly. May also require repetitive motions.

Lifting/Moving - Must be able to properly move up to 25 pounds.
