Responsibilities
Drive supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement
Ensure suppliers maintain all regulations and requirements
Perform quality system audits for supplier introduction and supplier continuous improvement
Visit vendor facilities to ensure they uphold quality standards
Track and manage actions plans to resolve quality issues
Support Purchasing in selecting the best vendors
Promote initiatives to improve quality
Train new employees and vendors on quality assurance procedures and protocols
Lead other employees involved in assessing supplier quality standards
Requirements
BSc in Industrial Engineering or relevant field
Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role, at least 5 years of experience
Mechanical and electrical skills, acquired in an industrial environment
In-depth understanding of technical documentation
Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
