Structural Project Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Project Engineer in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
Prepares or checks structural calculations, sketches, specifications and supports development of design drawings prepared by designers.
Provides technical guidance for the pertinent portions of the assigned projects including review of vendor documents and shop drawings.
Develops and monitors project scopes and schedule for applicable discipline. Identifies changes in scope and their impact, as they occur.
Provides coordination of design efforts with other disciplines, subcontractors, construction and client personnel.
Monitors and ensures design work and documents are correct, consistent with applicable codes, logically presented and constructible.
When responsible for work, stamps required project documents as a PE.
Requirements
ABET BS Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural. Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
8+ years of relevant experience.
NCEES accreditation preferred.
PE strongly preferred.
AutoCAD, Bluebeam, RISA 3D or STAAD.Pro.
US Citizenship.
Great attitude and team player.
Successful completion of background screening process.
