Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our team. As an STNA, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our patients. This position offers opportunities to work in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and home care.
Duties:
- Provide primary care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients
Qualifications:
- Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant certification
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients in various healthcare settings
