Job Description
Visa Technology &
Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Staff SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to:
Architect, design, build, develop, test, and/or implement software systems and/or applications.
Conduct business and technical analysis, code reviews and user testing, and implement and produce technical documentation of solutions for new development, systems enhancements, and production support.
Design, develop, and implement modifications and corrections to existing software, including the development of debugging routines.
Design, develop, and implement of new data driven business software solutions.
Deliver high quality software solutions that conform requirements, and the architectural vision, and comply with all applicable standards.
Design and build new risk and fraud prevention software applications and functionality.
Create design documentation.
Participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Participate in code reviews with team members. Review and assess impact of proposed scope changes on assigned deliverables.
Design and develop a common approach to continuous software integration that includes build automation, test automation, and software deployment automation.
Position reports to the employer’s Austin, TX office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
