Overview:
We are hiring a StaffCivil Engineer to join our business and contribute to multi-discipline design projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Princeton, NJ. This person will have the opportunity to work on various public and private site development projects across various markets!

Requirements:
4+ years of professional experience working in Civil Engineering (preferably with Land Development and/or Site Design projects).
Must have experience working on brownfield/land redevelopment projects;

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or a related technical discipline).
Proficiency with engineering tools (e.G.:
CADD, etc.);
experience with utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare site development plans is a plus!
Experience working with regulatory approvals, including working with planning &
zoning compliance.
Proven ability to prepare a site plan package for submission to local jurisdiction(s) is a plus!
Experience working successfully within assigned budgets.
Proficiency on basic office software applications, especially Microsoft Office 365.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude.
Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in an energetic and challenging work environment on a variety of projects;
this person will be expected to demonstrate a self-motivated demeanor while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
Proven track record of displaying a professional demeanor (e.G.:
proactive work habits, professional appearance, etc.).
Excellent communication skills (verbal &
written).
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient knowledge of the Land Development process in the City of Philadelphia (and surrounding region) is preferred.
Experience working with stormwater management, especially while utilizing Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&
H) modeling tools, is a plus!
PE in PA is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to multi-discipline projects with a variety of clients within the City of Philadelphia as well as the surrounding region.
Prepare site plan development drawings while utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D;
this involves taking land survey data to develop a site plan package that is compliant with municipal regulations.
Design and detail of site layout, removals, grading, utilities, etc.
Design and detail stormwater management:
hydrologic &
hydraulic modeling, erosion control, sediment control, relevant design calculations, etc.
Ensure regulatory approval;
this includes having anunderstanding of (and working with) planning &
zoning compliance.
Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies.
Assist with mentoring junior-level staff.
Assist with field inspections, as needed.
