Staff Accountant (St. Raphael Roofing)

Apple Roofing and St. Raphael Roofing have recently merged and are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant for our Ft. Myers, FL location! As a successful, fast-growing roofing company, we believe a Staff Accountant should be a trustworthy professional with outstanding abilities.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for inventory, job costing and other accounting duties. Commitment to excellence and integrity by performing all tasks with the utmost accuracy and efficiency, also demonstrating a strong work ethic.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Monitor inventory transactions, update general ledger as required, perform inventory audits and assessments, and produce regular inventory reports.
Develop or enhance all inventory process controls.
Handle cycle counts and full count inventories, coordinating all physical inventory activities.
Reconcile supplier invoice pricing with approved price list.
Prepare daily material work orders for job costing.
Collaborate with Operations and Finance to implement and foster a strong inventory control environment.
Assist with accounts receivable collection.
Assist with month-end close tasks
Handle fleet management, verification and reconciliation of monthly fuel charges.
Handle facilities maintenance.
Other tasks and special projects, as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Must be well organized, accurate, with impressive analytical and record-keeping abilities, and able to articulate business information;
meet deadlines and prioritize tasks;
work efficiently with minimal supervision
Able to use a computer and other office technology
Familiar with data entry systems
Great written and verbal communication skills
Experience with job costing in an ERP (Business Central experience, a plus)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify)
Must pass a background check
