Sr Scheduler, Marine Operations

Job Description
The purpose of this job is to manage, optimize and execute all marine related operations for Pilot Energy.
Essential Functions
Nominate, schedule, and execute marine shipments of Refined Products and Renewable Fuels
Provide marine operations subject matter expertise to other functional teams – including Trading, Settlements, Credit and Trade Finance.
Consult on the structuring of marine-based trading activity.
Oversee product quantity and quality control for all marine shipments and vetting of all documents for accuracy and completion.
Drive negotiation and relationship management with ship owners, ship brokers, ship charterers, terminals, and inspection companies
Collaborate with contracts group to review marine contract General Terms and Conditions
Engage and work with customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely import and export filings.
Provide thought leadership in the optimization of marine-related business processes, controls and system configuration.
Review and approve counterparty invoices related to marine shipments.
Participate in special projects identified by manager, operations team, and traders.
Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose;
ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
