Sr. Mechanical Engineer - Heavy Industry Equipment

An International Manufacturer with over $900MM in global sales, is a leader in its niche industry of carbon and graphite products. Their growing operation near Nashville, TN, is presently seeking aSr. Mechanical Engineer,who will lead ongoing capital equipment (boilers, cranes, furnaces) projects to upgrade the entire plant.

Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Some of the company's work involves U.S. Defense Department projects. ITAR Rules will apply.
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
15 – 20 years of engineering experience is required.
Demonstrated commercial projects experience.
Ability to read and interpret detailed schematics, drawings, and specifications for equipment and utilities (P&
ID and equipment drawings).
Experience with plant maintenance systems such as boilers, power distribution, and/or heavy lifting cranes in a heavy industrial environment is required. Will not consider package conveyor systems or automotive assembly experience.
Efficient and effective troubleshooting skills including root cause analysis training.
Demonstrated style of participative management in problem solving, project implementation, and continuous improvement objectives.
Experience as plant/facility maintenance support, work order and maintenance systems is beneficial.
