Sr Manager, Real Estate

Job Description
The purpose of this job is to support, direct, develop and execute Pilot Company’s (“Pilot”) real estate &
development activities.
Must be located in the greater Knoxville, TN area.
Oversee &
Support all of Pilot’s Miscellaneous Real Estate Activities including but not limited to property development entitlement, purchase and sale agreement negotiations, lease negotiations, additional property acquisitions, surplus property sales, right-of-way &
easement acquisitions, lease renewals and landlord relations.
Oversee the Development-Site Selection process, including property identification and location analysis, for new travel center development for a specified area of the country.
Participate in strategic planning activities related to growth of Pilot’s travel center network.
Negotiate and review legal documents with real estate team members prior to submission to Pilot’s legal department.
Collaborate with and support Pilot’s new store project management and legal team throughout the land entitlement, permitting and acquisition-closing process for new development opportunities.
Communicate project status by weekly reports as well as regular verbal updates to appropriate internal and external parties/stakeholders
