About the role:
As a Senior Manager of Insider Threat Management, you will be responsible for safeguarding our organization against internal security risks posed by employees, contractors, and partners. You will lead a team dedicated to identifying, assessing, and mitigating insider threats to protect sensitive information and maintain the integrity of Worldpay systems and data. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a global team, driving program strategy, and collaborating across various functions to ensure effective detection, response, and mitigation of insider threats.
What you will be doing:
Insider Threat &
Risk Management:
Lead the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures to detect, respond to, and mitigate insider threats effectively. Work with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
Technology Implementation:
Utilizes strong knowledge and experience with data loss prevention (DLP) and User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) technologies to proactively identify insider threats and anomalous behaviors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with legal, privacy, and cyber incident response teams to ensure alignment of insider threat response processes with organizational policies and regulations.
Vendor Management:
Oversee relationships with third-party vendors providing insider threat detection and response solutions, ensuring that services meet organizational needs and standards.
Team Leadership:
Manage a team of insider threat analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Organizational Change:
Drive cultural and operational changes within the organization to foster a proactive approach to insider threat management and cybersecurity awareness.
Program Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive insider threat program strategy, including continuous improvement initiatives and adapting to evolving threats.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. PMP, CRMP or other project management/risk professional certifications and five years as an insider threat/information security/risk management lead or manager highly desired.
Typically requires five or more years of experience with:
Strong understanding of insider threat concepts, methodologies, and best practices
In-depth working knowledge of global legal, privacy, and regulatory requirements related to insider threat management
Experience with information security tools such as SIEM, DLP, Endpoint, UEBA and data exfiltration detection techniques
Proficiency with security and access management concepts such as network protocols, secure design, access controls, encryption, data protection, privileged access, etc.
Excellent decision-making, problem solving, time management, communications, presentation and organizational skills
Proven leadership skills including team planning, mentoring, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, and setting priorities
High level verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
