Sr. Manager Finance - Bu Finance

Job Description
The Senior Manager of Finance role, supports the Data Center HDD team, which sells enterprise-grade products into major Cloud, OEM, and Distribution customers. This role is responsible for driving forecasts, scenario planning, calling out risks and opportunities, and providing upper management with the analysis required to make sound, timely decisions. The role serves as the business partner for the BU OPS team, while also working across Sales, Mkt, Pricing, Cost, Inventory and Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the primary operational contact for the Business Unit and Corp Finance for the forecast process
Coordinate and lead review sessions with BU and Finance groups to finalize financial projected volumes, Rev$, GP$, and GM%
Weekly tracking of key metrics with adjustments to the current quarter outlook
Identification of risks and opportunities related to supply constraints and/or demand strength, with risk mitigation
Measure and report forecast accuracy to drive model improvements
Collaborate with peers, Business Unit Teams, and Accounting on alignment for quarter-end plan attainment, and oversee the quarter close process
Maintain reports and present to Management and cross functional teams
Ongoing detailed analysis of customer and product performance and trends
Review and provide feedback on pricing strategies and margin enhancement
Develop and maintain integrated tools and reports to improve and automate processes
Manage, lead, and develop two analysts
Ad hoc requests as assigned
