Responsibilities
The Sr. Manager Maintenance is responsible for overall development and implementation of Bishop site processes to maintain unit and site assets including fixed equipment, rotating equipment, instrumentation, electrical systems and overall facilities. The position leads the central maintenance team responsible for planning, scheduling, and efficient execution of preventive and corrective maintenance work orders during normal operations as well as unit outages. This position is accountable for the Stores warehouse management, including ensuring availability of optimum spare parts inventory aligned with equipment criticality. This position serves as primary contact for coordination of resident contractor resources including staffing levels.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external safety requirements. The manager is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards, to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Promotes a culture to achieve flawless execution of maintenance work, aligned with overall manufacturing objectives across stewardship, quality, reliability and engagement
Drives best-in-class, cost-effective execution of planned and corrective maintenance work by championing adherence to maintenance work process
Proactively identifies maintenance process gaps and opportunities through data analysis of KPIs and metrics to enable continuous improvement in collaboration with site stakeholders
Coaches and develops team members to improve team performance and sustain bench strength
Collaborates with Reliability Program Owner and units on development of appropriate equipment strategies (inspection intervals, tasks, repair plans, sparing etc) are in place for all equipment
Collaborates with Site Reliability Program Owner and unit reliability leads to ensure site and unit reliability objectives are met, including timely completion of Level C RCAs for corrective maintenance work orders by maintenance technicians, and supports Level A/B RCAs for significant equipment downtime, and Bad Actor resolution
Drives repair quality culture with "

Provides input on new equipment design and installation to assure maintainability and long term cost of ownership considerations are incorporated.

Qualifications
Required:
Education/Experience:
BS in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical or Electrical Preferred),
Minimum 10 years experience in petrochemical, refining, or polymer plant Maintenance, including experience supervising direct reports.
Recognizes risks and develops proactive solutions
Analyzes complex situations and thinks strategically and drives action
Communicates efficiently and effectively at all levels of the organization
Knowledgeable regarding planning and scheduling processes using CMMS and associated maintenance excellence work processes
Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplined teams, including motivating and developing talent and building the bench
