The Opportunity:
Our Global Licensing Acquisition &
Strategic Partnership team seeks a Senior Analyst in El Segundo who will partner with the hiring Senior Manager to continue to refresh and expand licenses in our vehicles portfolio, including both Hot Wheels and Matchbox brands. Playing a vital role in the procurement of new licensors and renewal process with existing licensors, ensuring they align with business needs for Mattel Vehicle Brands and negotiating license agreements, contract extensions, and addendums. This role needs to be able to establish internal and external relationships in order to deliver best-in-class partnerships.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Actively interface and participate as necessary in brand team meetings to ensure full understanding of product lines, to communicate contractual requirements and status of licenses, provide input in product schedules and roll-out, and offer strategic opportunities or solutions to challenges.
Maintain and circulate departmental related reports and other internal communication on a regular basis.
Negotiate license agreements, contract extensions and addendums for vehicles (i.E., Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and Power Wheels) licenses, while interfacing with various internal resources (e.G.:
marketing, finance, legal, royalty accounting).
Assist in evaluation of new opportunities and make recommendations for potential licenses that are aligned with the brand teams’ current strategies and objectives.
Facilitate requests for information, such as asset acquisition, forecast request and sales projections.
